The team of Ural engineers that designed cargo, industrial and expedition Burlak AT vehicles, started serial production in Ekaterinburg. It is planned that up to 12 vehicles per year will be produced in the Urals, reported the chief designer of the project, Aleksei Makarov, to the TASS on Tuesday.
"Burlak AT vehicle can be used on the farm, in the oil and gas industry, research work, state program for the development of the Arctic. The vehicles are in demand among customers, so now the main task is to establish all the processes of serial production. It is planned to assemble several vehicles of the basic configuration simultaneously, it is planned to produce up to 12 vehicles per year," he said.
According to the interlocutor of the agency, domestic components are used in all versions, namely: expedition, cargo and industrial. "Further improvements will take place after the feedback of customers," Makarov explained.
