BURLAK AT VEHICLE WAS SUCCESSFULLY TESTED BEFORE THE EXPEDITION TO THE NORTH POLE09.03.2017 TESTINGS
On the 10th of March the full-scale tests of the vehicle in the Kara Sea were completed. Burlak passed more than 3 thousand km across winter roads, taiga, off-road terrain, mountains, tundra and sea.
The test started on February 21st. The participants of the Transarctic Automobile Expedition left Ekaterinburg for the Kara Sea to test the AT vehicle in polar conditions. They were going through Inta and Vorkuta to Baydaratskaya Bay and back through Labytnangi and Ivdel. The route was passed in 2.5 weeks.
“The new AT vehicle has excellently proved itself. It is already decided that our expedition will go to the North Pole in the vehicles of this design,” the co-organizer of the Transarctic Automobile Expedition Maksim Belonogov says.
